Gregory P. LaBove
Co-Founder & Managing Member
Mr. LaBove is an expert in multiple facets of the oil and gas and real estate industries, including land management, land administration, financial analysis, title, joint interest billing, and managing and training land professionals. Having a broad understanding of the oil and gas and real estate industries allows Greg to more effectively communicate and find solutions to complex problems.
In addition to representing buyers and sellers in the closing of multi millions of dollars in real estate deals, Greg has also led the integration of multi-billion-dollar acquisitions in the oil and gas business, including the hiring, training and management of employees, the implementation of land systems, and conversion of data. Greg also has expertise as a Landman where he has negotiated numerous agreements and managed the leasing and drilling of prospects along the Gulf Coast including Texas, Louisiana, and the Federal Gulf of Mexico.
Greg has a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Texas, a master’s degree in Business Administration, and is a Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst, a Certified Professional Landman, and a Texas Real Estate Agent.
Greg has served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Association of Professional Landmen, Chairman of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen Gulf Coast Social, and a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Ford A. Peters
Co-Founder & Managing Member
Mr. Peters’ expertise includes working with teams of legal, land, business development, operational and geophysical professionals in the planning, evaluating, and developing of oil and gas interests focusing on Federal Offshore Waters and the continental United States.
Ford has effectively steered the completion of several multi-million and multi-billion-dollar acquisitions and has extensive expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, bankruptcy procedure, representation at state and federal lease sales, governmental compliance, and title research.
Prior to working for the largest oil and gas producer in the Gulf of Mexico, Ford worked in commercial real estate, commercial insurance defense litigation, and for a prominent oil and gas focused law firm.
Ford received a bachelor's degree with honors from Texas A&M University, and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.
Ford is a member of the State Bar of Texas Oil and Gas and Real Estate Sections, a co-founder of the South Texas College of Law Energy Alumni Chapter, on the Board of the Outer Continental Shelf Advisory Board, and on the Board of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen.
